Artisan Power Replacement Battery for Wahl KM Cordless Clippers – Replaces 93049-101

It was during this process of browsing that I stumbled upon the battery replacement for my KM Wahl cordless dog clipper, that I’d recently “killed” by leaving plugged in for a week. I wasn’t entirely aware this is what I needed to fix it until I saw the listing. I immediately double checked my clippers to make sure they were comparable, and ordered the battery.As soon as the battery arrived, I unscrewed the cover, unclipped the dead battery and installed the replacement. Getting the cord tucked inside the case was a little tricky, yet once in place and the top half of the case screwed tightly in place, I charged it for just over 6 hours, and Ta Da! My clippers works again.I’ve recharged and used them several times since and they are like new. Aside from the Color, the original battery was blue, the replacement orange, everything about the replacement feels, looks and performs as well as the original.I cannot currently comment on the longevity, but will update with high priority if the battery needs replaced again prematurely.I didn’t check the price of a name brand replacement, but would guess it’s pricier. I feel this battery that has my clippers functioning again is a great value compared to completely replacing the clipper or taking it to a repairperson. It was very easy to do the repair myself, and I have minimal small appliance repair experience. Anyone that can use a screwdriver could make the same repair. I recommend you try this replacement battery if your cordless KM battery has stopped working.
