This twelve-pack of assorted cat toys arrived in a sturdy cardboard box. I’m glad it did because my youngest cat wanted to immediately play with everything as I took it out of the box. I definitely need that box for storing the excess toys away. In the package, you will receive the following items: (3) small Polyester mouse toys that are filled with organic catnip powder, (2) sisal-wrapped silvervine sticks that have raffia sticking out of the ends and have a silver vine fruit with a small bell on it, (1) small blue plush rabbit stuffed with catnip, (1) orange plush carrot stuffed with catnip, (1) green plush frog stuffed with catnip, and (4) shaped toys made out of catnip and silvervine in the shape of a mouse, ball, and a cat head. The cat shape and one of the mice catnip and silvervine toys have a stick of silvervine sticking out of their backsides. The ball shape and the other mouse made out of catnip and silvervine have feathers sticking out where the tail would normally be.I’ll be honest, my cats didn’t really like the catnip and silvervine-shaped toys. They batted them around for a bit, but they remained on the floor, mostly ignored. I don’t know if this will change over time but as of right now, they don’t have much interest in them. The two silvervine toys were ignored too. I don’t know if it’s because they haven’t truly been exposed to this type of ingredient before, but they are genuinely disinterested. I will probably end up giving these toys to some neighborhood cats. I also worry that if any cat chews on these sticks for very long, they will splinter apart and leave sharp edges behind. The moment I opened the package, my youngest cat immediately wanted to play with the fuzzy mice. I could barely get the box away from her as she pounced on top of it. If it were up to her, she would have all three mice scattered about my home. She loves to hide her toys and then bring them to me later to play with her. I gave her a couple of them but put the last mouse away. I like to trade out her toys, so she doesn’t get bored with them. It takes my oldest cat a bit to start playing with new toys but even she was swayed with the newest addition to her collection. My cats and I recommend these mice for many happy playing days for your cat with the caveat that if your cat is not used to silvervine, they may not like over half of these toys.
