My MAP sensor is fine, but I wanted to have a backup for my 2021 silverado 2500HD LT dmax… These things get so gummed up and you have to clean it fairly often, so I wanted to have a backup in place. I’ve cleared codes just by cleaning the MAP sensor. The first time I did, I don’t think it had ever been cleaned at 100k miles from the previous owner, so that was eye opening. Considering I clean this regularly just out of habit, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have a backup just in case because these are incredibly sensitive. Looks and acts just like OEM…. price is great on this too, because I’ve seen it marked up substantially more than this.
